Thanks for showing interest in rooftop solar. As per MNRE Scheme subsidy for installation of rooftop solar in residential sector is available as under:
• For capacity up to 3 kWp - 40% of the benchmark cost or cost discovered in tender, whichever is lower.
• For capacity beyond 3 kWp and up to 10 kWp - 20% of the benchmark cost or cost discovered in tender, whichever is lower.
• For capacity up to 500 kWp (limited to 10 kWp per house and total upto 500 kWp) in case of GHS/RWA - 20% of the benchmark cost or cost discovered in tender, whichever is lower.
Presently the DISCOM is in the process of processing tender for empanelment of vendors and discovery of rates for installation of rooftop solar in the area of DISCOM.
You will be informed about the rates discovered and list of vendors empaneled on its finalization by the DISCOM. Thereafter, you will be given an option to select the vendor and provide your consent for moving ahead for installation of rooftop solar.
The present registration is only for getting expression of interest from willing consumers. The process will start only after finalization of tender and the same will be informed separately through email or SMS or Whatsapp.
